Dr. Julia Boyd, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Julia Boyd for years, and I am finally done. I went to my appointment today to discuss my severe fatigue, lack of sleep, and my vitamin levels—issues that have been affecting my quality of life for a long time. Instead of an actual medical discussion, I was completely blown off. Dr. Boyd has a habit of talking over patients and staring at her computer screen, but today was unacceptable. She dismissed my debilitating fatigue as "just menopause," refusing to look deeper at my actual health or my history. I even went to the trouble of writing down my concerns and vitamin issues because I knew she doesn't listen, and she physically threw the paper aside without even looking at it. It is incredibly disappointing to trust a provider for years only to be treated like a number on a screen. She looks at "normal" lab ranges and completely ignores the person suffering in front of her. When I confronted her about the lack of care, her only response was that I could… find a new provider. After years of giving her my business, I will be doing exactly that. Do not go here if you want a doctor who actually listens to your symptoms.

DR. BOYD HAS BEEN MY FAMILY DOCTOR FOR 6 YEARS NOW. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE THAT I HAVE RECEIVED AS A PATIENT. THE OFFICE IS USUALLY VERY TIMELY IN GETTING ME BACK TO A ROOM, I SOMETIMES WAIT FOR A LITTLE BIT IN THE ROOM TO SEE THE DOCTOR, BUT WHEN SHE DOES COME IN I DONT FEEL LIKE SHE IS IN A HUGE RUSH TO GET IN AND OUT OF MY ROOM. SHE LISTENS, IS CARING, AND I FEEL HAS GIVEN ME PROPER DIAGNOSIS. HER NURSES AND OTHER STAFF ARE ALSO VERY KIND AND FRIENDLY. I HAVE AND WILL CONTINUE TO REFER OTHERS TO HER PRACTICE.

I have been with Dr. Boyd for many years and I am so pleased and respect her as a doctor. She has never steered me wrong and ALWAYS helped me to get better as well as my kids. I believe that she has such high integrity, high morals and high values and she, I think, is such a wonderful doctor!!!! I have had many surgeries since I was a teenager and been through alot and seen alot of "bad" doctors and surgeons....trust me!!!!! But I think that Dr. Boyd is one of the best doctors in the area and I LOVE it when she speaks her opinion and tells me how it is.......THAT IS HONESTY!!!!! In my eyes....she is the BEST!!!!!

I absolutely LOVE Dr.Boyd. I am 26 years old and have seen her on a regular basis since I was 11. She's caring, she spends time with you, and she is very understanding. Her office staff is kind and helpful, and its very easy to get an appointment. The wait time can vary, some days its a 5 minute wait, other days it may be 30 minutes. I say this is because she does take time with her patients who need it, therefore she may run late! Overall, she is a wonderful woman and I would recommend her to everyone.

They are a caring practice that gets you in quick and takes care of your problems.

My husband and I both see Dr. Boyd and believe she is a wonderful Dr. who cares about her patients. She in my opinion is nothing like what is mentioned above. We are lucky to have her as our Dr. and office staff are great to work with on appointments and very easy to speak with. I would recommend Dr. Boyd to anyone!!!

WAS UNAWARE OF & DOUBTED MENTAL CONDITIONS PREVIOUSLY DIAGNOSED BY MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS. UNAWARE OF WHAT / WHY SHE APPROVED PRESCRIPTIONS FOR SAID DISORDERS. LITERALLY FOUND MY SYMPTOMS AMUSING. BELITTLED PERSONAL CHOICES. (SHE LAUGHED AT ME....AND ASKED FOR A REASON WHY SHE SHOULD ASSIST ME IN APPLYING FOR STATE DISABILITY)

Dr Boyd is very religious and also pries into your personal life and judges you while trying to determine what is wrong with you. I would not recommend her to anyone.
