Dr. Julia N Bucklan

After getting the run around from many doctors for 3 years, I was really looking forward to Cleveland Clinic and answers. Once we were there, Julia Bucklan saw me for no more than 45 minutes. She conducted check ups and nothing else (no testing, etc) and frankly was pretty condescending. Quickly gave me a blanket diagnosis of fibromyalgia and did nothing else. Charged $716.00 for 45 minutes with no answers or help. I left in tears and remain COMPLETELY disappointed in Cleveland Clinic, especially after hearing so many good things about it. Unfortunately my experience was pretty awful and they provided ZERO relief or answers for my condition.

I just had my first appt with Dr Bucklan this week so it is still too early to tell, but her bedside was great and she seemed truly concerned for my issues and took her time in listening to my concerns and history - she didn’t rush me along or seem distracted or keep looking at her watch like many drs I’ve seen in the past. She wanted to get the full story to try and figure out what is really going on. She also examined me (many drs don’t touch you nowadays) a bit and tested my body in several ways. There is still much to be done before a diagnosis is to be made, but I have faith in her as my dr. Many people may have doubts since she is a younger dr or newer dr, but I think this could be in her favor . She will be more educated on the new things happening in the medical field and not set in her ways (as older drs tend to be). And some older drs tend to doubt patients and their symptoms and just push them out the door Bc they’re tired and want to hurry up and medicate them. I speak from… experience. I highly recommend her (so far). I hope she gets down to the bottom of what my symptoms are.
