Dr. Julia Chen, MD

Dr. Chen has been my doctor for 10 plus years. She is thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable. I experienced a health issue a few years ago and she provided a lot of support and guidance.

Dr. Chen is incredible my entire family has used her as primary care for many years and I believe she is an exceptional doctor

I recently had a very complex illness and saw Dr. Chen as much as 2 times a month over the last 6 months. Dr. Chen is thorough and compassionate-she involved my family and was always willing to provide them with updates. Her medical knowledge made me feel confident in the care provided and she facilitated appropriate referrals to other specialties. She answered my emails very timely and urgent appointments were easily obtained. I am very pleased to recommend her to my physician colleagues.

I recently saw Dr. Chen about my asthma being triggered by a cold. I was told I was being prescribed some meds. I requested a doctor's excuse for work because I have been coughing through the night with very little rest. I was told I didn't need an excuse and to call Monday if I was still feeling bad and I would get a work excuse. When I called Monday I was given the run around twice and told I would receive a call when it was ready. It's a day and a half later and I still haven't heard anything and I still feel horrible.

Does not like Senior citizens Will not listen to what you have to say it's her way or the highway do not waste your time going to see this doctor . Doctors need to be held accountable for their action in Their attitude They're not GOD'S

After being a patient of Dr Chen for a while, I have to question why she bothered becoming a physician in the first place. Her bedside manner is characterized by a consistent callousness and a lack of attentiveness. Her previous diagnoses have been wrong. Did Dr Chen become a physician to help people, or for a steady career track?

I have seen Dr. Chen twice. Both times, I have found her analyses to be incomplete, and both visits have required follow up with other doctors who have better "connected the dots" with respect to my medical condition.
