ZERO STARS - She is the absolute worst doctor I have EVER seen. She put both myself and my unborn daughter in danger. I 100% believe that this doctor could not have cared less whether we lived or died that day. I was having contractions one minute apart at 20 weeks for over 24 hours. She told me to take a allergy pill and lie down. This did not address the problem. At the time, I was in the middle of transferring my care to Hopkins because I had been deemed too high risk to continue care at Luminis. She was aware of this. I asked if we should just go to Hopkins, and she insisted that I come into AAMC instead. We drove to AAMC, and when we arrived, we overheard her telling someone outside our hospital door that she had no idea why we came to AAMC instead of Hopkins. SHE WAS THE REASON. I would have told her off right then, but I needed to keep my blood pressure down. I started to tear up once I realized the risk to both my baby and myself. She refused to look at me and was extremely… cold. Her bedside manner was atrocious. She did not care about my safety or my child’s. She proceeded to tell me that I needed a magnesium drip and that in order to receive it, I needed a catheter. I told her I did not want a catheter—especially without pain management—and that I would prefer to be escorted to the bathroom if needed. She told me that I could not have the magnesium drip without it. I received the catheter without ANY pain medication, and they called Hopkins to pick me up in an ambulance and take me to downtown Baltimore. The ride was extremely bumpy and very uncomfortable with a catheter in place and no pain meds. When I arrived at Hopkins, it was like night and day. They treated me with compassion and respect. They also told me they would have taken me to the bathroom and would not have forced a catheter if I did not want one. A few months later, I needed another magnesium drip. I received it at Hopkins without a catheter.

Dr. Lubsky is the best. She is very caring, calming, and makes you feel at ease throughout your entire journey under her care. She delivered my second baby who was breech by C-section. I also have seen her for IUD placement and removal. I rarely leave reviews but I think she is so great and wanted to share my experience.

I was so thrilled that Dr. Lubsky was the provider on call the day I delivered. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional and has an amazing bedside manner. I was able to see her in the office a few times before I delivered and felt most comfortable knowing she was going to be there for my delivery. She was reassuring and comforting the entire time. I would definitely go back to her for my next obgyn experience.
