Dr. Julia Frances Edelman, MD

Dr. Edelman takes the time to listen and explain. I appreciate how she looks at many variables to understand what is going on and tries to give analogies to explain difficult concepts. Her prompt action and the options she gave me allowed me to make sound decisions for my own health. I am one of those people who cannot listen and type, so I understand the need to pause. I have learned through many physician encounters to come prepared (see Mayo Clinics recommendations on how to prepare for an appointment) and she values the effort.

Very dissatisfied, everytime i would remember a question or say something while she was typing, she would say EXCUSE ME! I CAN NOT TYPE AND LISTEN TO YOU AT THE SAME TIME. Dr. Edleman is a very intelligent woman. That being said she is clearly blind to the way she makes her patinets feel uncomfortable and unheard. I am now looking for another gynecologist (was lead to believe Dr. Edleman could have the knowledge to help me) who can help me with this rare condition i was diagnosed with. To feel like a normal woman again...i used to know what that felt like.

Very knowledgeable and thorough. Really cares about her patients.

Would not be such a bad doctor if she would stop flogging her book. I want her to answer my questions not tell me what chapter in her book to read. I am moving on.

Dr. Edelman is the most knowledgeable physician I have ever been to. She is also very nice. I was feeling quite poorly prior to seeing her but after following her advice, I feel like my old self again. She is wonderful!
