I love Dr. Kahan! I had both surgery on my shoulder and knee by her and she did an amazing job!! I definitely recommend her:)

I gave two stars because the office staff is decently friendly, and they were accomidating with getting me in within a few days. I came to my apt. having a broken ankle and unknown other conditions with the foot, as swelling and bruising was horrid. Took X-ray of ankle only, said it was stable and I could put weight on it. I sent my X-ray to a friend who is a highly regaurded ankle surgeon in Texas and he was shocked. He said he wouldn't have let me leave his office without casting it. He said absolutely no weight on it, and to sleep in the air cast. (I already had one from a previous injury.) I feel this major discrepancy warrants a little concern on my part, and a heads up to future patients. Get second opinions. I have been off of it completely, and go for new X-rays in a few weeks. We will see how off-base the diagnosis was. Btw I was charged $76 for 3 X-rays, and only received two. My insurance denied their billing code and I only have to pay for the $250 office… visit. It's nice to see an insurance company on your side, and knowing when offices try to over-bill.

Have seen her for two surgeries. Shoulder and Knee and so far all is well. Very nice and listens well.

Suffered with plantar fasciitis for too many months before receiving orthotripsy with success. If you're looking for sympathy you won't find it. If you're looking for accurate diagnosis and treatment you've found your provider. I would recommend to patients who don't need their hand held. A meat and potatoes kind of doctor.

I've been on a few visits whereas each time I felt I was being treated as though I was a burden to the physician. Her kindness seems very superficial and always seemed to avoid general questions about my injury/care/etc. I'm an Electrical Engineer so naturally I may have a few questions about my condition. Dr. K seemed to treat others quite kindly whereas she's always taken a somber, cold demeanor towards me. I've never done anything disrespetful to her so I'm shocked at being treated as if I'm a child when I'm actually a professional adult. I've never in my life had such a poor experience with a physician.

Dr. Kahan diagnosed a torn ACL and meniscus, and performed the reconstructive surgery. She diagnosed the problem correctly. The office staff worked really hard to arrange for an MRI for me the next day and to accommodate my preferred surgery dates. In at least 3 different instances, they coordinated with external service providers to have fixtures and devices delivered to me right on time, when needed.Dr. Kahan is friendly and confidence inspiring, for me and for 2 other neighbors who became her patients. At the same time, she is tough, challenging the patient to execute what is a difficult rehabilitation program rather than slack and whine.I cannot see how a doctor can possibly be any better.

She promised I would not have pain after the surgery...and I do....other than that.....I think she has skills....but check around too! I felt rushed with the followup...she said she couldn't figure out why I still had pain.....go figure!

Dr. Kahan was wonderful. She treated my knee and now I am back to my activities. I found her intelligent, patient and a pleasure. I am glad I found such a great doctor

This doctor was very rude to me and spent less than 2 minutes with me, after I waited over 35 minutes to see her. She was rough with my shoulder and sent me away without doing anything.She then billed me for an exam and a cortisol injection which I did not receive. I called her about this "error" but she refused to fix the bill and has now sent me to collections, 4 years after the fact.

She is an amazing surgeon who remade my totally destroyed foot. I have recommended her to many peopleLynne
