Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:All throughout my childhood, I was exposed to the art of medicine in numerous ways. As I grew, my interest just continued to grow as well. I always knew I would pursue a career in healthcare but I was not sure where specifically. I decided on nursing, and early on in my career I knew that becoming a nurse practitioner will be my ultimate goal. This was based on personal encounters, my desire to educate, advocate, and provide holistic care.What I want my patients to know about me:I truly enjoying helping people and I believe that all those that work in health care should have this trait. Seeing the smiles of my patients and their families at the end of a visit makes a big difference. I aspire to be a caring, helpful, and calm provider along with expertise to make a difference in my patient's experience.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:Listening to music, dancing, cooking and watching a good movie are some of my favorite things to do. …Spending quality time with my family and friends are also very important to me.
