Dr. Julia Michele Lange, DO

Attended a birth for my friend. She never once smiled or gave encouragement. Horrible bedside which I could usually over look if the care is quality but I don’t believe it was. She was condescending and used fear based coercive methods to get my friend to agree to her preferences. She didn’t explain risk. She barked orders and was super rigid with delivery style (must be on back because that’s what’s best for her). Wouldn’t delay cord clamp because “loosing too much blood” when after the nurse said amount of blood loss was only slightly higher but still in the realm of normal. Pulled/tugged placenta right away when my friend had wanted to deliver it naturally. If you want to be respected, treated with dignity, or permitted to labor with a little freedom to choose basic options this is not the doctor you want.

She damaged my illioinguinal, iliohypogastric, and genitofemoral nerves during my c section. I had sharp burning and stabbing pain immediately after. I told her for over 6 months and she said need to see a gastrointestinal dr for the pain on the left side of my c section that radiates into my groin. She's a terrible physician with a crass attitude and I wouldn't trust her to do the job correctly. Steer clear my friends. I've suffered for over 3 years now and I'll be facing a neurosurgery for either a spinal cord stimulator or cutting and burning the nerves permanently.

Very much liked and appreciated Dr. Lange's willingness to actively listen and not rush through our appointment. She was very thorough in responding to questions/concerns. She's a caring, kind and very professional.

My title says it all. Pt. lacks good bedside manner and comes off very brash. Needs better social skill for her specialty.
