Dr. Julia Marie Mayer, MD

What a fantastic pediatrician! She is knowledgeable and caring, and always takes a TON of time to visit with me and my family. We went through a period last year where my daughter was having some testing done, and when I called to talk to Dr. Mayer about it, she spent 20 or 30 minutes on the phone with me after work discussing them. Just above and beyond. She came recommended to me by other pediatricians in the area, as well. LOVE her!

Dr. Mayer will go along with whatever you say your child has. She will give you medicine if you say you think your child needs it. Not a good fit for me as I want a doctor who is thorough and acts like they know more than I do. My child ended up on medicine she didn't need to be on, that upset her stomach and mouth.

Dr. Mayer is an excellent professional and human being. I am glad my OBGYN recommended her for my baby. The team in STL Pediatrics Associates also help me and my baby to have an easy after delivery time in the hospital with the multiple check up visits

She seem to be always cautious about her look and I asked to diagnose something and she forgot ...something equivalent to that a Dr forgot the scissors in surgery. Dr If you need rest dont take too many patients

Dr. Mayer has a wonderful bedside manner with kids and babies (and especially parents). She has always been prompt in response to our questions, and if there has ever been any question she doesn't know the answer to immediately, she has gotten back with us. As new parents, we barraged her with our questions and concerns, but she has always taken the time to address them, and done so in a positive manner. A note too about her staff. I have never seen a more adept set of nurses at vaccination! One time, our daughter didn't even realize she'd been poked due to distraction, speed and skill. Quite impressive!I really don't have anything negative to say about our experiences with Dr. Mayer, or her office.
