Dr. Julia V Savina

Julia Savina should not be practicing dentistry under any circumstances. Poor skills regarding the re-cementing of crowns and composite tooth repair; teeth are left rough and unsmoothed, floss catches on many of the unattended surfaces between the "repaired" teeth, and if you mention the floss tearing when you use it, she grinds away large amounts of tooth structure to make room for the floss to go. I now have huge, visible, uncomfortable gaps in my teeth where large chunks of food accumulate, a condition which did not occur even before my teeth were supposedly "repaired" at this facility. The dental assistant handles crucial tools and materials with bare hands, and THEN puts on gloves. The receptionist chews gum. This practice should be re-named Smile Destroyers

Was Awful!!! The filling placed was not done correctly. I still have a large space missing that is the same space size of the filling that fell out that I went to have replaced. The material used for filling is really rough and grainy. Highly unusual and unlike any filling material that was used by previous dentists. The Dental Assistant dropped the above light frame on me when she was adjusting it. The Dental Assistant kept flowing to much water down throat which kept going up into nasal passages which was very annoying and also water kept flowing out of mouth during procedure. I never had water flow out before when I have had a filling done. Dr. Savina herself is very rude. I simply asked a couple of questions and she cut me off with very abrupt answers and showed annoyance with me wasting her time by asking. After the procedure when I said there was no need to schedule another appointment the front desk clerk made me walk to the back to inform her why. There are tons of dentists in… Portland and there is no need to visit one who did a crappy job possibly made the tooth worse. It has been four hours since appointment and that side of mouth is still about the same numbness it was for procedure. I can barely take a drink without it running out of mouth. I never had such a horrible filling experience. I highly recommend to go to a different dentist.

Never explained clearly when asked questions. Zero bed side manners. Made me not to trust her!
