The office staff is always very friendly. Wait time is always very short, if at all. Dr. Ward is always polite, considerate, and concerned with your health.

Doctors like Dr. Ward are few and far between. She cares about my health and longevity. She’s knowledgeable and helps me find a sweet spot where I feel comfortable and confident that together with Dr. Ward we have my health dialed in. Dr. Ward and her staff have always been extremely polite, professional, and very accommodating. Wait time in the lobby is extremely minimal. She has helped me to become healthier than I have been for some time.

Dr.Ward is amazing, i have been seeing for about 4 years now. I ha e been battling Hypothyroidism for 33 years now and could never get myself balanced or optimal. Finally! A doctor who genuinely cares about her patients health concerns. There are doctors that go for the quantity of patients they see in a day so they can make more money from their patients, which results to unhappy patients later down the road. Dr. Ward truly cares more about the quality she provides to her patients. She goes out of her way to care for her patients. Rather than just telling you what to do, she works with you to address any health concerns. She takes the time to listen to patients health complaints. I highly recommend Dr. Julia Ward. Aside from her being an expert in hormone balancing, a trained IFM Practitioner, she is also a body builder! Definitely a good role model to all her patients! As I am sitting behind my computer and remembering all the harsh things my body has endured, I am driven to write a Thank You/Testimonial for Balanced Body Functional Medicine. First off let me start by thanking Dr. Julia Ward for her hard work, dedication, and attention to detail that goes on behind the scene, that is unique to every single patient.  The team that Julia has staffed is by far beyond expectations.  The compassionate and friendly staff was a foundation for me getting through a very challenging time in my Health. I am 34 and have had 4 organ surgeries.  I came to Julia in dire need of help with my body.  I had spoken with 3 specialists over a 4 month period that were baffled by my blood work, the symptoms I was experiencing and the pain.  One Dr. told me I needed to be hospitalized when she read my blood work.  Another told me that she recommended I have my Pancreas removed.  After coming to a stage where I felt I had no option but to have the surgery, I by God's Grace,… ran across Dr. Julia Ward and her team. Dr. Ward sat down with me, listened to me cry and explain how much pain I was in.   I would swell and look about 6 months pregnant almost immediately after eating and be in pain on my side for days.  It was uncomfortable for me to wear a seatbelt, or even cross my hands over my stomach when the pain was at its peak.  Carrying my 3-year old was awful.  Sleeping on my side was not an option.  I had hit rock bottom and was sheer exhausted at getting the run around from specialists. Dr. Ward placed me on her specialized program and continued to monitor my progress and dedication to her Healing Program weekly.  Her staff was available to me daily.  Her office was always open for my questions or concerns.   I followed the program to the T.  I drank and ate as I was supposed to based on my blood work and the severity of my symptoms, and within 2 weeks I was crying in tears at the relief I finally felt and the energy I noticed I finally had.  I did not stray from my regimen.  I was dedicated and focused on healing.  At 2 weeks' time, my girls, 3 and 5 years of age, noticed momma had a significant increase in energy.  I could carry my children on my hip again.  My husband was ecstatic with the new me and noticed that my skin looked a healthier color, my hair was more nourished and I had a more positive glow about me at the end of 1 month. For a while I was feeling lethargic and forgetful. I had attributed it to age. Since seeing Dr. Ward, I’ve been feeling like my “normal” self again. The testosterone pellet, along with the progesterone supplement has helped significantly. When I exercise now, I feel and see the results, just like in my 20s and 30s.
