Julia Ann Zervos, DDS
I am grateful to be a dentist, and to help the people of our community achieve oral health and attain beautiful smiles. I love getting to know the people who live around me, and providing them with a positive dental experience that they want to have again and again!
Education and Continuing Education
I knew I wanted to be a dentist even before I finished my Undergraduate Degree. I took night classes while in Dental School, and graduated in 1999 from Loma Linda University in southern California with my DDS as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.
Although my formal education is complete, I continue my pursuit of dental education every year. I am proud to be a Premier Provider for Invisalign®, and am fully certified for Sedation Dentistry. Both my staff and I continue our pursuit of dental education by bringing guest speakers to our office and by traveling throughout the U.S. to professional seminars and conferences. We strive to stay …updated on the most efficient and effective technologies in order to better serve our patients' needs, and to provide a truly comprehensive and comfortable dental experience.
Professional Dedication
I have been a dentist for over 20 years, with over 16 years in our practice. The prior four years I was blessed to learn from some outstanding practitioners in the field. I love being able to use my experience to help my patients get healthy or maintain their health, and helping them learn about how to take great care of their teeth. I also enjoy teaching our staff how to give the highest quality care for our patients, so I know each person who comes to visit us will receive the best of care.
Over the years, my patients have become like family to me. It has been a joy to watch kids grow up, start driving, go off to college, get married and start bringing children of their own to the practice. I truly care about the people who come in to visit us, and will only provide treatments that I would perform on my own family. My patients know they are my highest priority, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
Family Life
I was born in Alma, Michigan and spent my teenage years, college and Dental School in southern California. I love living in Raleigh, and reside close enough to the office to allow me to go home at lunch and to be accessible when I am on call. I have lived in this area since 1993, and have even convinced my parents and sister's family to move here!
When I am not at work, I love spending time with my son, going to the beach, and playing with our dog. I also enjoy painting, sewing, decorating, and working in my garden.
