Dr. Julian Alberto Almeyda-Perez, MD

This dr has the bed side manor of a real jerk.. he treated me as if my history ( which is extensive) didn’t matter at all..Because I’ve been to a couple of different hospitals here in Vegas, for the same AND different ailments he accused me of drug seaking… as far as I’m concerned this guy is a fool ..He had a real attitude and talk to me like I was a drug addict. I’m in my middle seventies and have retired from the medical field years ago and in my opinion this guy should retire too.. he had no compassion for my reason for being at the hospital..

Dr Alemyda is the most exceptional doctor I have ever had. His bedside manner is informative, compassionate, detailed, and not rushed. He took time in his evenings to research my rare health issues and thought outside the box for solutions. I find it rare for medical professionals to admit that a case is complex and they don’t have the answers. He dug deep to find my unique treatment. Dr Almeyda researched and came to the conclusions that were needed. He is humble while showing the greatest concern for my immediate recovery and long term health. He is the best doctor!

Rude and condescending.

My husband suffered a heart attack when we were visiting Las Vegas. Dr. Almeyda-Perez was thorough in his exam and assessment. He spent more than 20 minutes explaining his findings and the proper course of action. The Cardiology team performed a heart catheterization on my husband and placed two stents in his heart. Dr. Almeyda- Perez visited him every day until the day of discharge. He was always courteous and polite. He explained things in terms we could understand and answered all our questions. I was in the hospital under Dr. Perez' care for 7 days. He knew exactly what he was doing and did everything he could to help me. My family was paying for hotel rooms everyday because we have no family in the area and he did his best to help us not stay longer than needed. He has a great bedside manner and was probably the best Dr. i've ever had. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends.

Dr. Almeyda took care of me for a week while I was hospitalized at UMC. He was never in a rush, excellent bedside manners and always willing to explain the details of the work up I was undergoing. Unfortunately he only works as a hospitalist and does not have an outpatient office. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone!
