Dr. Julian L Ambrus JR., MD

I have had such a positive experience with Dr Ambrus that it is hard to fully explain. He has been kind and considerate and knowledgeable and helpful. I had many years' worth of poor healthcare experiences before I first made an appointment with him. It has been life changing, for sure. I have been a patient for about 3 years.

I need to say that Dr. Ambrus is wonderful! I have been very sick for almost 3 years now. I have seen many doctors and I'm a hard case I guess. I have to say that Dr. Ambrus does not give up and he always treats me with dignity. It seems insignificant but he always tells me he hopes I start feeling better and I get some relief after every appointment. It is such a small thing but after some of my experiences with doctors it has come to mean a lot. No doctor has all the answers but compassion, understanding along with not dismissing you on site or treating you as if your crazy and a doctor that continues to try to help you is all any patient can ask.

Dr Ambrus is by far one of the most kind caring MD that I have ever seen in my lifetime. He help when no other Dr could,I have told numerous people of my 6 long years of not knowing what was wrong with my daughter and he seemed to know almost immediate.After the tests were completed it was all confirmed. How sad that the practice lost an amazing Dr, and yes the staff had needs to learn how to treat people, never had an office with so much issues, but the biggest was empathy.

When we didn't know what was wrong with my daughter in 2015 we met Dr.Julian Ambrus I called him Dr. House from the T.V. show. That is who he is. I asked God to send the Best of his Best and that is who he gave. Where is he now

I have a one in a million disease with several secondary compounding it. Dr. Ambrus knew immediately all the symptoms I have and told me them without my having to say a word! NOT ONE OTHER DOCTOR IN 15 I saw could do that and all were Kalaida health. I even had drs make up results not knowing I was a nurse and watching them do it!!! MY only complaint...any dealings with the outside staff. That cauldron needs to be replaced with persons who know how to deal with HUMAN BEINGS. They are for the most part incompetent. Oh not all but many. I had to tell the one girl where the scripts were going to be generated from!! This is unacceptable. Now I see they have terminated this doctor for communicating with his patients outside of appointments. Well if the staff would make appointments that would be good for starters....but they call and cancel...and then bill you for a no show. I am waiting till Dr. Ambrus sets his own practice up or is picked up by another more caring institution. UBMD has… become nothing more than an assembly line of profits to the health system and has nothing to do with quality of care.

Where has he headed to now he’s not at 100 Main Street anymore.

Dr. Ambrus is the best, the very best! He takes time with his patients, is very thorough and is the best in his field. He is well-known for his treatment of Mitochondrial disease along with many other fields. Thanks Dr. Ambrus!
