About Me

I find it especially challenging and rewarding to work in a hospital and help acutely ill patients so they may return home to their loved ones.

I like being a Kaiser Permanente doctor because it gives me great professional freedom (I do not have to ask permission to order important tests or medications from an insurance company). It allows me to concentrate on my patients by saving me from managing a business and gives me great opportunity to educate myself and stay up to date with the latest medical news.

I was born in Budapest, Hungary. I grew up and attended medical school in Budapest. I was already practicing medicine there before moving to the United States in 1985. After coming to the United States, I was working hard to fulfill all the requirements needed to be able to practice medicine here. At the same time, I was raising my two children with a lot of help from my husband. After my residency, I joined Kaiser Permanente in 1992. I became a member of the hospital …based team in 1998. I have been working mostly at the Mt. Diablo Medical Center taking care of Kaiser Permanente members.

When I am not working, I like to exercise, read good books, play with my dogs, and cook Hungarian meals for my family and friends.
