This woman was a nightmare.... My LO had his 2 month well visit and she was a nightmare. The one we normally see was not in today. She decided to criticize the fact that I breastfeed on demand rather than a set schedule, then she began talk about his sleeping. She looked right past me and told my husband that if we aren't letting our 8 week old cry it out for at least an hour, then we aren't trying hard enough to get him to self soothe. That we should put the vacuum on in his room so that we can't hear him cry. That I need to leave the house if needed so that 'dad can be the strong one'. She said that my son needs to learn that this is real world, not the womb. I'm so upset and seriously wanted to punch this woman in the face. Rant over but still has left me really upset. Lesson learned... Ask for a specific dr when booking our appointments going forward.
