At 2 a.m., I was in agony, withering and crying from a reaction to a clinical trial. I attempted to request an increase in my medication dose, but she stormed into my room, shouting and criticizing me, saying I wanted things my way. Clearly, I know what works for me. She intentionally under-medicated me, causing unnecessary suffering. Furthermore, she documented inaccurate notes in my chart, claiming she provided options, which she did not. I recorded the incident because I couldn’t believe a doctor would yell and threaten a patient. I’ve never witnessed such unprofessional behavior from a doctor. This woman not only misrepresented the situation in her notes to make herself look better but also lied. If you're a person of color, save yourself the trip, as she clearly views POC through a biased and ableist lens.

Julie Ann Callender came storming in my room shouting and screaming at my face when I was suffering from a life threatening reaction to a clinical trial. She intimidated me, made me cry and threatened me saying if I don’t listen to her she will not give me anything for my pain. She punished me by reducing my pain meds. She also made up things in MyChart note to paint me a certain way. I’m a POC woman and she was biased and stereotyped me. Save your money and don’t see this lady especially if you are a POC
