Dr. Julie Lee Costello, MD

I saw Dr Costello earlier today for a life long respiratory issue. She is very knowledgeable, professional and caring. She did not rush and took the time to get a complete history. I am confident in that she will figure out my problem. I would highly recommend this physician.

I only had one appointment with Dr. Costello and found her to be extremely arrogant. Her attitude was so bad I decided to find another doctor.

Her manner in handling patients and their families is totallyreprehensible. St Ann's seems to think she walks on water,but the reality is that she is extremely uncaring, gives verylittle time to her patients, and was particularly unkind to myson. I guess her medical knowledge is OK but we alwaysfelt like we were walking on eggs when we were with her.

Dr. Costello is a fantastic doctor who was able to quickly assess and order necessary needed tests to diagnose lung conditions that several other physicians had disregarded and primarily only treated symptoms. Not only is she an outstanding physician but she genuinely cares about her patients ande their well being! She is firm in her beliefs but truly has the pateints best interest at heart. An outstanding physician! I wish she could manage everything!

She is the most uncaring doctor I have ever had to experience. No bedside manner. She refuses to listen to the patients' families or the patients. She wants to put a PEG tube and trach in every patient. We decided to fire her & go w/ a different doctor. Within a day, my dad was eating on his own & didn't need the trach or PEG tube that she INSISTED must be done & told us she wasn't going to discuss it anymore. She refused to give my dad a swallow test. The other doctor agreed & he passed without one problem. She kept insisting he couldn't swallow-Who Could with an NG tube stuck down their throat. My dad is recovering at home by leaps & bounds. She told us he wouldn't recover. My dad remembers a "bad person" & wouldn't answer her questions. She is the only person that ever came to his room that he refused to give a response. She is rude, uncaring, and stubborn. What a bitter, sad person. May God grant her some friends & make her a happier person so that she may learn to care for… people as if they were her family & not a $10k bonus for every PEG tube inserted!
