Dr. Julie A. Hodapp

I have been seeing Dr Hodapp for a few years as I recover, remap my brain, and thrive after a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-concussive syndrome (PCS). Dr. Hodapp has been enthusiastic and supportive as I have continued to stretch the limits and improve. She was even supportive, though equally cautious regarding my attempt to return to full-time demanding work. I failed at that, but I appreciated that she provided me with tools to try to make it work. One of the strong points of Harborview's CORP-TBI** is that they work as a team. Dr. Hodapp has referred me to other members such as a neuropsychologist, vocational rehab, and a neuro-physical therapist at CORP. They meet together and discuss patients to improve coordination of care and brainstorm ways to improve recovery. (**Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Program)

I found her caring and willing to help in any way that she can very informative and supportive

she is the worst doctor ever I have been waiting for her over a 2 months she cancel on me just hours left on my appointment what kind of human being she is am very disappointed on her

Pretended that common issues associated with TBI (memory loss, memory alteration, loss of emotional control and filtering) and the problems they cause in relationships should be handled by marriage counseling. The same counselors who say their standard techniques don't work in these cases and the patient needs specialized counseling and help - like what she is supposed to assist with patients receiving. She acted like it was an overwhelming proposition for her to address these things. When I told her what counselors, a GP, and even a radiologist knew - that this was supposed to be hers, and Harborview's, specialty. She was then very unpleasant to deal with and didn't hide her contempt or dislike. Extremely unpleasant person and if you are the caregiver with any of the above problems, don't bother with her or Harborview. They advertise a good game, but deliver nothing substantial in the slightest. They don't deal with anything difficult, they only want to find small areas where they… know they can get the patient to feel any form of gain and don't deal with anything substantial. TBI/head injury cases, don't bother here.

Dr. Hodapp really listens, her explanations are excellentl, and I have recommended her to friends.

Doctor hodapp was my doctor for about a year, now i am going back to see her. She fit me into her schedgle when there were no openings making it a point to see me, to help me. Doctor hodapp is one of the best doctors i have ever been to see. her caring and knowlegde is unmatched by the doctors that i have see for the same issue. I would recomend her above all else in this field of medicene. In a time when finding a good doctor is harder done then said she has been a true breath of freash air.
