Dr. Julie Clarice Howard, MD

I really miss Dr. Julie Howard since she left Mayo to spend more time with her children. I haven't been able to find a doctor to replace her. I've actually now moved over to Gunderson for care. She always took the time to listen and spent time with you. She comforted you when you were upset. I really wish she'd come back.

Hands down the best doctor that I have ever been a patient of. She is caring and knowledgable. She always takes the time to talk about my symptoms, concerns, and any medications that I am on and/or she is prescribing; she has always made sure I was part of creating my treatment plan.

Between myself or others in my immediate family, we have been treated by all of the doctors and the midwife at the Tomah Mayo Clinic. Dr. Julie Howard is definitely the best in my opinion (my husband says Dr. Cavanass, but that's because he's a guy). She has great bedside manner, is kind and listens well, and is smart when it comes to diagnosing issues. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs care.
