Dr. Julie Michele Jaffe, MD

Dr. Jaffe is full of life and humor. She was always positive with me. She gave me very clear information based on current research and reviewed all of my treatment options with me. She did an amazing job of coordinating my care and getting me to the best specialist that I needed to understand my breast cancer and the plan for treatment. She gave me confidence that I would make it through this round of breast cancer and that she would be with me through every step. I wish I had the same quality of care when I went through my first round of breast cancer fears 10 years ago. My doctors then were not particularly interested in providing information and options. I was told what to do, instead of being given any options or detailed information. I was given no emotional support and in contrast Dr Jaffe consistently addressed how I was doing emotionally at every visit and even called me at home to check on me. If you’re looking for a great oncologist who always knows the stage of both… your physical and emotional health, Dr. Jaffe is the one. Still I hope never to be in her office again! No offense Julie!

I took my father for a 20 minute appointment for his cancer that had come back all over his body. Dr. Jaffe spent over an hour with us even though she was running late. We never felt rushed and my father got the compassionate care he needed. He is now going into remission with chemo. She is controlling his pain. He is comfortable now and that is what we want. Our family will never forget Dr. Jaffe’s care.

She spent a lot of time with me and explained my diagnosis and treatment plan in terms I could understand. She was available when I needed her and helped me through a terrible time in my life. I come from a medical background accustom to the best medical of medical care. I was reffered to Dr. Jaffe by Dr. Michael Alexander, who continued the fine care I was accustom to all my life. I thought he was the best and still do, but Dr. Jaffe is his clone. She is thorough, meticulous, professional, caring, and genuinely interested in me as a whole person.
