Dr. Jeyaratnam truly cares about her patients and displays exceptional compassion and professionalism in her practice. My wife and I have been her patients for several years now, and always feel well cared for.

I am 54 years old and been through a lot of doctors searching for someone that’s thorough and really cares about the patient. A friend recommended me Dr JULIE J and I am so thankful I made the appointment to see her. Very compassionate. Now I am looking forward to all my appointments with her!! I love her!

I have also had a wonderful experience with Dr. J. I have seen her several times for different things and she has been very kind and caring each time. She takes her time and doesn’t make you feel rushed. I moved out of town and will still make the 60 mile trip back to see Dr. J. For me, she has been an awesome doctor. I actually look forward to my doctors visits! I have never had a doctor like her before. I am very pleased with Dr. J.

I just left an appointment with Dr. Julie Jeyaratnam’s office at Redding Family Medical Group. I questioned her about a refill request that was to be filled the week prior, but was not. She became extremely defensive and stormed out of the room. I went to find her because that response was completely shocking and not a behavior I have EVER experienced with a doctor before. I was simply asking questions, and she was telling me how she’s assigned over 200 tasks per day, but doesn’t have enough time to do them, and when she has to respond to a refill request, she has to do it on her own time, and it takes time away from her family. I expressed to her that when you’re required to apply to be someone’s patient, I expect better care, and that was when she completely lost it. When I finally was able to get her to come back, she, thankfully brought the office manager back with her. She made up some story about how I was uncomfortable with their office (those words never exited my mouth). Then,… of course, everything was ‘my fault’. She said they’d left me multiple messages the week before regarding the refill (which was untrue - I spoke to someone Monday morning asking which pharmacy I’d like the script to be called into and then late on Friday, right before they were closing for the weekend, I received a message that said they were unable to make the refill because they didn’t have demographic information for me.) And then, right before she threw a piece of paper in my face and stormed out once again, she said ‘I’ll give you six months worth of meds.’ To top everything, she lied, once again, to the office manager, and said it was difficult even getting my blood pressure. A nurse took my bp before she ever walked into the room and it was 118/88. I saw that same nurse when I walked out of the room with the office manager, and I apologized if it was difficult to get my bp and she said it wasn’t a problem at all. I never once raised my voice or was indignant in the least other than expressing my concern and questioning what happened with the refill. I even asked the Office Manager what I had done, and she said she wasn’t sure. However, I do feel that Dr. Jeyaratnam is not fit mentally or emotionally to be seeing patients if her standard response, when facing a very small amount of questioning is to storm out of the room, or if she feels it is beneath her to answer patient questions. If she is feeling burned out or overwhelmed, it is up to her to take care of herself and not take it out on patients.

Wow, she is just amazing! I just had a Saturday emergency visit with her and she was wonderful and informative and very compassionate to my situation! I was really very comfortable with her!

I have seen a lot of doctors though my 61 years, She is the most patience person and very knowledgeable about different side effects and medications. She tells you like it is and explains why it is important to do what she suggest. She has a great love for helping people and you feel it as soon as she walks in the room and starts talking to you. She doesn't make you look stupid for asking questions or act like she is already on her way out the door when she comes in. You know you matter to her. Love this Dr.

Dr. Jeyaratnam is the kindest and most caring doctor I have ever gone to, in the 69 years of my life. She is very thorough, takes her time with you and answers all your questions. She found medical issues about me that other doctors didn't see. Dr. Jeyaratnam is the only doctor I will go to, for the rest of my life.

I had my first visit with Dr. Julie today. What a kind and caring young woman. I am almost twice her age and she has all my confidence after just 30 minutes with her. She is so different than the doctor I just left.

Dr. Jeyaratnam is one of those doctors that became a doctor for the right reasons, a rare find indeed. I am a young patient in my 20's with two chronic diseases, and she has been patient, caring, and non-judgmental about both conditions. She always sits down with you in the room and never rushes your appointments, so you can always share your concerns and symptoms. I'm always researching more possibilities of care and she always loves to hear them and gives me the best medical advice about it and she also always does more research about it on her own. Being so young and so ill all the time she is such a breath of fresh air. If I need new medications ordered she'll call the pharmacy herself to put them in for you, she is also one of those doctors that will call you herself with results. I cannot express enough of how amazing she is! Your health is her main priority, and she'll go out of her way to make sure you get the best care. One of the best doctors I've had in my entire life.
