Dr. Julie Oneacre Jones, MD

I brought my mother in for a new patient appointment. She was in a lot of pain. Dr. Jones didn't want to exam her for these problems because she was a "new patient" and this was a "new patient appointment." I tried to explain that something was really wrong with my mother and she was never in pain or ever this sick. Dr. Jones then proceed to try and degrade me by asking me if I was a medical professional. I was so horrified by her behavior. I cancelled my new patient appointment for her on my way out with my mother. Turns out, my mother had a ruptured appendix. It had been ruptured for two days and she had emergency surgery at midnight at Medina Hospital. Don't try to see this doctor for any problems for a "new patient appointment" if you want to be treated with kindness and respect. Horrible behavior coming from a "professional." She doesn't even deserve one star.

Dr Jones LISTENED to my concerns, she checked to see if results were back for a test (ordered by one of my other physicians when I let her know that I asked the hospital to notify her of the results), followed up with an additional test and had her staff notify me the next day of the results. The level of care, concern and thoroughness was exceptional! All of this within 24 hours - amazing.
