Dr. Julie Ann S Juliano, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Juliano’s for over five years, trust me when I recommend you look elsewhere if you want even remotely decent care. There seems to be a culture throughout her office whereby being demeaning and condescending toward patients is the norm. Nearly every time I needed to visit, everyone from the front desk staff to the doctor herself (with the one exception being the phlebotomist) would gaslight me and treat me like I was a liar, a complete idiot, or both, despite the fact that I am an educated, articulate, and relatively healthy young woman. For example, once when I called to schedule a physical which I needed for a job, the receptionist stated “I have a daughter your age, I know how it is. You all are the same. You come once a year for your physical and to get your birth control and that’s it. I’m not judging you though. Really, I’m not judging you.” Her tone clearly suggested that she was, in fact, judging me. I had many other similar experiences with Dr. Juliano… and her staff which resulted in misdiagnoses and missed issues on multiple occasions. I am lucky that she didn’t miss something serious. I regret staying with her for as long as I did, but truthfully, I didn’t know better. Now that I do, I will never let a doctor or their staff treat me the way Dr. Juliano and her staff treated me.

I came out of my annual exam with Dr. Juliano feeling absolutely shamed, sad and embarrassed. My blood work and vitals were excellent but the doctor felt it necessary to basically concentrate the entire focus of my visit on the number on the scale. She proceeded to call me short, compared me to herself and said that she was not happy with her weight and she was taller than me. Told me that”if she couldn’t stretch me, she would shrink me”. Not once did she ask me if I exercised, which I do regularly, but instead, told me that she reduced her breakfast from 1 cup of yogurt to 1/2 cup and added 20 blueberries instead of 30. She obviously has her own image issues that she attempts to pass on to her patients in the most condescending way possible. I eat well and exercise, I am trying to do better every day and have lost 10 pounds, but at 53 years old, I like who I am. I can’t say the same for Dr. Juliano. I hope she finds peace in the body she has, but in the meantime, do not subject… yourself to the humiliating and demoralizing exam that I endured!

Dr. Julie is caring and knowledgeable. She is friendly and easy boing but firm in encouraging a healthy life style. She will give you the time you need in the office.

I felt the office staff was very rude and difficult making an appointment. Wait in waiting room for over 1 hour with appointment made well in advance. Visit was for routine follow up blood pressure check. Drs. bedside manner was ok. She was pleasant, but spoke mostly of herself, not really listening to any of my concerns. Would not recommend. I will be looking for another Primary Care Physician.

Very well informed, knowledgable doctor who combines her professional abilities with a personal touch. An outstanding primary care physician!
