Dr. Julie Ann King, MD

Although she is not my Dr. She has been the oncall Dr. Numerous times due to my Dr. Leaving on maternity leave and having small children at home. I love my Dr. and her assistant. They genuinely care for their PTs. As for Dr. King and her assistant Crissy they are far from curtious and caring. I Know we live in a world of drug seekers and Dr.s are constantly being harassed for pain medicine. In my experience with this Dr. They could care less that they have a pt who legitimate suffers from pain. Having dealt with much abdominal pain due to adenymosis and endometriosis, urteran obligation surgery and now schedule to have a hysterectomy... You would assume that I am an actual candidate for pain reliever. As in requesting, what has become a routine Rx for pain meds..I was told my Dr had left on early maternity leave... so Dr. King and her assistant contacted me and told me they were cutting my meds in half and lowering the dose. I of course followed what they said and tried to make this… work. But as many who suffer from chronic pain know...your body adjust to the pain meds and isn't as effective. I let the On call dr. Know that this was not meeting my pain tolerance. I was treated with the upmost disrespect by her assistant...to say the least I have been treated as a drug abuser and that I wasn't worth her time. I hear more and more that legitmate Pt in pain are subdued by these accusations and are not treated accordingly. I am not sure if this Dr. is close to loosing a license due to something of this nature or what...but it is unjust and unkind to treat humans this way..even if they do not belong to your line of PTs. I would never recommend this Dr to anyone.
