Not all heroes wear capes. Dr. Lange removed a lump from my breast while I was 34 weeks pregnant. After my requests for the use of local instead of general anesthesia during the surgery were denied by a different surgeon at my local hospital, I met with Dr. Lange at JH and she agreed to do the procedure under local anesthesia. I was no longer forced to decide between my own well-being and the safety of my unborn child. The procedure was 100% smooth and painless. Dr. Lange’s calm professionalism gave me complete confidence. And at an incredibly stressful time when I had so little control over my body, I felt incredibly empowered.

I had melanoma skin cancer surgery and Dr. Lange did the operation. She is the best and her staff was with me thru the very trying time and let me know what I was going to be facing. The profesionalism of Dr.Lange and the Johns Hopkins cancer team You hear about it and when you expierance then you find out how good they are. Six months have passed and am now cancer free.Thank you Dr.Lange and the Hopkins cancer team

She's seen me through two breast proceedures in 7 years following two diagnosis of breast cancer, unrelated to each other. I traveled from another state to receive care from Dr. Lange both times. She is a wonderful doctor & person and I cannot recomend her more highly. I recently recomended her to a friend who was just diagnosed with Melanoma. She went to Dr.Lange for the necessary curative proceedure and she is as happy with the care she received as I have been and as impressed with this wonderful physician.
