Can you say BPD?

I found her to be impulsive and opinionated. Unfortunately most of her opinions were silly and her advice (she would call it therapy) superficial and wrong headed.

She thinks she is always right and patient is just plain stupid. I am afraid that is only infrequently the case. Gets mad when confronted with obvious facts and contradictions in her behavior.

I have been seeing Dr. Low for nearly 10 years, and she has provided me with an accurate diagnosis, proper medication, and outstanding support. She has met my entire family, although they are not patients of hers (conflict of interest, she said). She is available by email, or text messages to set up appointments, and is able to meet in person, or by telephone (for established, and stable patients). She is extremely responsive, helping me on holidays, weekends, and after - hours when I had some urgent issues over the years. I feel she is incredibly compassionate, and understanding, and has a strong background in child, adolescent, adult, and forensic psychiatry that is second to none, but most importantly she is absolutely ethical, and "cannot be bought" in a City where other providers may look out for their own financial well - being, or to climb the ladder of prominence. Dr. Low stands head and shoulders above the rest with her strong ethics. At times, we have had… confrontational moments, what I would describe as "tough love", where I didn't want to hear the accurate, and true statements she was making for my own benefit, but when I've had the courage to hear the good (and not so good) that I need to work on, is where I feel like I was able to grow as a person, and patient, and take an honest look at my deficits, and proactively work on them. She has seen my progress, and applauded me for the hard work I've put in. Finally, New York City therapists are extremely expensive, but I've found Dr. Low to be about 20% less than many other therapists with her same prominence, and experience, and she is not a "clock watcher", and has gone above and beyond with her time, even not billing me for help here and there, or to speak and collaborate with other professionals. I cannot recommend Dr. Low highly enough. A big thank you, Dr. Low. My life would not be the same without your help, guidance, and support.

Dr. Low is an amazingly skilled and caring clinician.

This fat shrink enjoys diagnosing people as borderline. Unfortunately she is biggest borderline of all time.

I saw her for some time before I realized that the only meaningful thing was money changing hands. Her ideas, thoughts and suggestions were uniformly banal, clichés and generally useless or harmful. I decided to move on to try to solve my problems myself. Things have been better since then and I am also not losing money.

Her only concern is to grab your money, the care is only accidental. Basically a prescription writer, streaching your time to justify the bill.

Dr. Low is both warm and professional. No problem is too large or too small for her to help. I highly recommend her.

Julie is not only warm and an excellent listener. She is compassionate and professional. She always offers concrete advice and help. No matter how insurmountable a problem may be she helps pave a road towards resolution. She has been good council for a long time. I highly regard her and would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.
