Julie E Mangino, MD

I have been Dr. Mangino's patient for at least 10 years. In my opinion she is extremely knowledgeable about her areas of practice. In addition to her infectious diseases practice, Dr. Mangino is a professor of internal medicine. Her need to balance the rigors of a demanding practice and academia may help patients understand the no-nonsense features of her personality. It is Dr. Mangino's non-nonsense approach to patient care that I appreciate most. I feel confident that she is managing my care with a knowing and watchful eye, and I trust the authenticity of her consultations. Moreover, I have come to appreciate that under Dr. Mangino's steely exterior beats a caring and compassionate heart. I would recommend her to anyone who values a Doctor/Patient relationship based on honesty and a 50/50 sharing of the responsibility for wellness.
