Do not, and I mean do not, tell her you breastfeed. She will push formula like they're paying her to do it. She was a doctor my son saw at st. JoeJoe women's when he was born. She insisted no matter what myself or my husband said that I switch to formula, there was one reason after another, even after Dr. Vargas (who is great by the way) said he had no concerns for my son's health and felt breast was best. She went so far as to tell me if I did not give him formula she would not discharge him from the hospital, and she didn't. I had to wait till Monday when another pediatrician came on call to take my baby home when I was discharged on Sunday because she said she didn't have to if she did not want to. Also, her English is not the best, she will turn your words around so please when dealing with this woman make sure a nurse is present and can clear up the confusion. When I told her I wanted to exclusively breast feed and use no formula she said, "oh so you don't want to breast feed at… all? Ok great!" A nurse had to step in because it started a very heated conversation in the nursery.
