Dr. Julie Ann Mora, MD

I love her she has been nothing but the best. In my care , she will no longer works for Powers health which is community hospital. Hopefully I can find her. I'll follow her if my insurance will take her.

Dr Mora is the most thorough physician I have ever encountered. She gives you as much time as needed for questions and exam. Her office is attentive at responding to My Chart questions as well.

She is very condescending and speaks to her patients like they are uneducated. I was treated with such disrespect and it was shocking for this behavior to come from a physician. I am not expecting a physician to be flawless, just to treat humans like humans. I also hope Dr. Mora remembers that she is, also, a mere human. She needs to be aware of the fact that she does not know everything - and some people know things she does not.

Dr. Mora has been so caring and helpful in helping me deal with my chronic health issues.

Dr. Mora takes the time to listen to my concerns and address each one of them! She is personable and takes the time to talk about what is going on in my life. I would recommend her to any of my friends and family

This Doctor is very Rude, with very little personality, seen her number of times in a few years, Last visit I decided I was done. When you actually refuse a patient a service and accuse them of something that is not true. Well the proof is in the pudding on how much she or he cares. I have zero respect for Dr. Who show up just to make a ridiculous inflated salary, highly don't recommend her

I can't get vaccines from the doctor's office. I have to go to the health Department. The waiting times take forever. She's nice though.

She is awful! Not accommodating at all and doesn’t care about her patients. She is a complete robot and is never there when you need her. Good luck with getting an appointment this century!

Julie Mora is very rude, unreliable and unprofessional. She also does not take responsibility for her actions. I left numerous messages over a two week period because my pharmacy needed her approval to fill my prescription. The Saint John office also sent her correspondence telling her a patient was trying to contact her. This was the second time I had a problem getting a prescription refill. After over two weeks I finally received a phone call from her nurse stating that I needed to see the doctor before she would refill my prescription. The next day I received a call telling me I also needed blood work. During my office visit I asked why it took so long to return the phone calls. She started yelling and talking down to me. I asked her not to talk to me that way but she continued yelling. She blamed everyone from her co workers to my pharmacy and me for her not returning phone calls. She also told me that there was no one there to answer phones because the employees were both sick.… During the conversation she became more hostile. When she couldn't lie or blame her way out of the question I asked and she wouldn't take responsibility for her actions she stormed out of the exam room and told the nurse at the desk to call the police. I left the Schererville office and went to the St John office and got a different doctor. Don't waste your time with Julie Mora. She is rude, disrespectful, unreliable and isn't able to tell the truth. Very poor communication. She also has no people skills and doesn't care about her patients.

I regret to inform anybody looking for a new doctor in Northwest Indiana that you should avoid, at all costs, Dr. Julie Mora, M.D. I chose her only because my own doctor retired last year, so I decided it would be wise to stay in the same hospital network of care, and she was taking new patients. She has NO BEDSIDE MANNER--NONE. She is in a people business, but she COMPLETELY lacks people skills. She will demand that you seek countless tests that you probably don't need. My retired doctor never "demanded" I go out to get all of these tests. He actually got to know me. Hmm, imagine that. Well, now all I have are those memories. When I questioned the need for all of the tests before she would refill my blood pressure medication, she--not the nurse--came storming out of her office to confront me in the waiting room, and then she told me that if I didn't like it, I could find my medical care elsewhere. I dropped those forms, then said I would be doing just that. I found… another doctor quickly. IF YOU NEED A DOCTOR, ALMOST ANYBODY ELSE WOULD BE BETTER THAN DR. JULIE MORA.
