Dr. Julie Christine Sandruck, MD

I wrote this a year ago on Google: "Just awful. If I could put less than one star, I would. Very rude secretaries and they absolutely do not know how to handle confidential information. Waited over an hour and a half for my most recent annual exam, 45 minutes of which were sitting in the exam room. In nothing but that pink piece of paper. Uncomfortable. She conviently forgot to mention the pain that I would experience after. Really makes it hard to ever want to go back to or trust an OB/GYN again. The absolute worst. One decent nurse." This was further confirmed at an appointment today in which I saw a different OB/GYN. I was terrified because of my previous horrible experience with Dr.Sandruck. Today, however, the Pap Smear performed by a different doctor, was quick, literally less than half the time for the entire exam and painless. Please spare yourself from going to this provider.

My 17 year old daughter had an appointment yesterday (2021-08-17) with Dr. Sandruck. It was her first time meeting with a gynecologist and was understandably very nervous and intimidated. She did not want to go but was told that she needed to start a relationship with a doctor since she is now going to college. She came out crying and couldn't stop crying for an hour. She was traumatized. The details are confidential, but I would not wish this woman on a young child. The other doctors in this practice may very well be great practitioners but if your family has a baby, this woman could be assigned to the case in the rotation. Doctors need to realize mental conditions go along with physical conditions and they need to provide the best care they know how. It doesn't take much to pretend to be a decent human being even if you don't really care about patients. I don't know how much more depraved a doctor can be when a new young patient comes to you with an unconditional trust that… she won't even provide to her own parents, and the doctor ravages her. Needless to say, we will never step close to the practice, but this serves to shine a light on this gynecologist for anyone new who may want to sidestep a very unpleasant experience. Normally one can detect red flags when meeting the first time, but this wasn't even close. I can’t help but to think there must have been more unreported incidences in her career leading to this point. This doctor comes highly NOT recommended.

Very personable and makes you feel very comfortable

Very thorough, does not rush you, asks pertinent questions, I feel comfortable during my visits, which is hard when you are up in stirrups.

Normally I do not take the time to review my health care providers, but I know there are a lot of young women out there, like myself, who are choosing their gynecologist for the first time. Dr. Sandruck made my first visit absolutely awesome! She explained everything in a way made sense to me while, at the same time, making me feel at ease. I could not have asked for a better experience so, if you are a someone choosing your first gynecologist, I definitely recommend Dr. Sandruck!

I found Dr. Sandruck to be very knowledgeable, educated, thorough, and experienced. Her bedside manner is absolutely terrific, and she took a lot of time to answer all of my many questions about my condition. She advised me of all of my options, supplied me with viable choices, and told me of the risks/benefits to each one. She gave me plenty of time to decide what to do, after which I decided on her recommendation for a hysterectomy. She never tried to sway me or pressure me into any decision, and made me feel very at ease every step of the way. The surgery went great. Being it was my first surgery, I thought about getting a second opinion, but after looking up her credentials and talking to her many times, my comfort level became such that I no longer needed to think about going elsewhere. My mother and others liked her so well also, that they are thinking about switching doctors.
