She doesn’t listen and spends the entire appointment time typing. She doesn’t look back at patient history and therefore gets facts wrong, which can be serious when prescribing meds.

Went in for lower lumbar pain first thing out of her mouth was your over weight that is the problem and told me to give up meat. Even thought I told her before the pain I was going to the gym daily and losing the weight. She put me on meds and sent me out. Come back a month latter same pain in my back it never went away, she told me its a muscle spazzam and to go to a massage therapist after 3 months of seeing him he told me that if it was defiantly not a muscle spazzam as it had not gone away or gotten any better. Went into her again demanding x-rais got those done and saw the copies my self. Disk disease she said it was mild but even on new pain meds didn't help. Went to a pain clink to a very well known pain doctor who told me that its not any where close to mild MY DISK LOOKS LIKE SWISS CHEESE IN THE X-RAIS!! and the Disk has slipped out of place. I call her up after getting my injections worried about further care as it runs in my family and is only going to get worse with time.… She still wouldn't admit that it is bad even though the pain doctor doesn't want me lifting 5lb or even bending down! DON'T GO TO HER YOU WILL SUFFER!!

I have been a patient of Dr Silverheart for about two years now. I went to see her about a month and a half ago letting her know I have been having chest pain‘s, heart palpitations and feeling lightheaded. She had me do bloodwork and sent me to a heart doctor. Her response to the bloodwork is that everything is OK. When I had asked her to do further testing she refused. I had also asked her if she would give me a screening for Lyme disease. She refused to do that as well. I had been diagnosed with Lyme disease about 18 years ago, which I had told her. I had also wanted further testing regarding my thyroid. I had been diagnosed with hypothyroidism about 25 years ago. Both my brother and sister have hypothyroidism. I had asked her to do further testing regarding my thyroid. She refused to do that as well, saying “the TSH was a highly accurate test and showed everything”. That there was no need to do further testing”. This basically left me no answers and no diagnosis of what is… going on with my body. This is what I call negligence. I was under the assumption that doctors were to take an oath, to do no harm. Being negligent is doing harm. Not going the extra mile to find out why these things are happening is negligence. As patients we are dependent on our doctors to listen to us. To do their best in treating us. I do not believe that Dr Silverheart was doing that on my behalf. Why, I do not know. Perhaps Dr Silverheart knows the answers to these questions herself.

I did not feel comfortable around Dr. Silverhart on this visit. She assumed something about me that wasn't true and made a judgment that she should not have. Although I think she is a good physician, I don't feel she was listening well to me. I have been around doctors all my life working in healthcare for 34 years and my father was a surgeon. A fair number of doctors have had entitlement attitudes and she had one today. I am just sick of these ego problems. To her credit she did say she likes it when patients express how they feel like I did. We will see - actions are louder than words.

I am very pleased with Dr. Silverheart being my priamary physician. Quality care.

Although Dr. Silverheart is knowledgeable and good at her practice, she seems slightly condescending and subtly racist. I am a responsible and educated business owner but I feel like she judges and labels me because I am a young minority. Furthermore, I do not drink or smoke and I have made that clear to her. Yet, every time I have an appointment with her she lectures me about drugs and alcohol as if I am a son she's disappointed in whose getting trashed every night. Additionally, she requires that I take a drug screening every single time I have an appointment - is that really necessary? She doesn't require my Caucasian father to do that, so what makes me so different?

After years of long waits, ignored symptoms, snap diagnoses and condescention, I bit the bullet and found a new PCP! She's wonderful -- everything a doc can be!

Dr. Silverhart is very refreshing compared to the usual physicians we have seen she is very caring, says whats on her mind and tries real hard to help and is understanding if someone is having problems with thr price of prescriptions etc. So glad we found her and God bless her for being so caring.
