Julie Such, CNP

Julie has earned my poor rating due to her inability to listen. She is trying her luck as a pain management nurse employed at southwest general hospital. I met this woman and immediately felt looked down upon for using prescribed opioid medication to treat my condition. She was judgemental and failed to hear that my condition had worsened, and I needed to see my doctor. At a follow up visit I informed her I had no choice but to take extra medication to make it through a week after a reaggravation of my injury. Her whole demeanor changed, her face wrinkled, and she loudly barked at me "You don't ever put one extra pill in your mouth"! After experiencing that I knew I could never be honest with this CNP. I feel she simply lacks the skill, training, and compassion that it requires to work in the pain management field. I think she would be better suited as a veterinarian where she can bark at her patients, and where her patients can't report what she's done to their lives. She was also… unable to figure out how to transmit my scripts to my pharmacy correctly. It was at least a year until another CNP was finally able to complete that task correctly. You may have a far better experience as her patient, however this is what I experienced as her patient from 2020-2021. The above is of my opinion, and my opinion only.
