Julie Thomas-Beckett, MSN, NP-C

Julie Thomas-Beckett, MSN, NP-C, is a nurse practitioner for MSU Health Care Family Medicine. With a robust educational background, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the MSU College of Nursing in 1986, followed by the completion of her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with the MSU College of Nursing in 1991. Her career focus is the primary care of patients and their families throughout the lifecycle. Her 'brand' of health care is to listen, counsel, and teach her patients, partnering with them to achieve their optimal health physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. She values primary care by educating the next generation of primary care providers as adjunct faculty at the MSU College of Nursing. Her interests include creative writing, fiber art/quilting, kayaking, biking, gardening, and great discussions with family and friends.
