Dr. Julie Ann Kammann Thompson, MD

As a patient who does not drink alcohol, I was shocked to learn I have liver cirrhosis. Scared to death that I was dying, I landed quickly in Dr. Thompson’s office at the University of Minnesota where she made me feel at ease and as comfortable as one can with a disease like cirrhosis. She is very smart, knowledgeable and, most importantly, caring & empathetic. She calmed my fears and took control of my case. I simply adore her and her personality! Her staff and the other staff at the U of M are also equally intelligent and caring. I would recommend my friends and family to Dr. Thompson without hesitation.

I took my time researching a doctor for a colonoscopy. I made an appointment with Dr. Thompson but once there, drugged and ready, some young student of hers showed up saying he was there to do the procedure. Stay away from doctors at the University. They don't care about you and send anyone they please to do their work (and possible damage). I refused the procedure.
