Because of Dr. Toll's lack of listening and caring, I ended up with pneumonia. I have several chronic illnesses and at 27 (!!) she told me I was too young to be having those problems. I'm sorry, illness doesn't discriminate or care about age. I'd gone in with difficulty breathing and complaints of chest pain and she was focused on my BMI and the fact that I hadn't had a proper physical in several years. I see multiple doctors a month and follow a healthy diet- my BMI is normal and my weight is none of her concern. She did a VERY short exam and chest X-rays, followed by me having to educate her on my illnesses. She was very concerned that I needed to have a physical and my bloodwork checked for my cholesterol as I'm "overweight" and "unhealthy" (mind you, she's never seen me). She then scrolls through her computer for a while, then turns to me and asks "so what should I prescribe you?" EXCUSE ME? She's the doctor. I suggested steroids since this is what had worked for me in the past,… and she agreed, saying "good idea. Let's do that". I never had any readings back from my x-rays, and on my chart notes, all that was mentioned was a diagnosis of "overweight" (WHICH I WAS CHARGED FOR) and "mild asthma" (which I've been diagnosed with for over 20 years). After several asthma attacks and worsening symptoms, I was able to get into my allergist's office, who was livid that another physician would let me walk out of the office with the complaints that I had. I was diagnosed with pneumonia and orders to go to the hospital immediately if I developed any worsening symptoms of more difficulty breathing. I will NEVER be returning to VFP, which is sad considering I have been going there almost exclusively for over 15 years. Dr. Alex Su has been my primary provider, but with how large the practice has gotten, it's increasingly difficult to get in with him when I need to. DO NOT SEE DR. TOLL IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE. If I didn't have a great care team behind me or know my body as well as I do, I could have DIED. Anyone who is elderly or medically fragile would have been at risk of losing her life because of her negligence. Please, SEE SOMEONE ELSE.

Told her I had pain in my pelvis. She got off her chair listened to my heart and lungs, sat down in her chair and said “Thank you for your story”. Story? I put off coming in for weeks but when the pain kept coming back thought maybe I should see someone.

I was so blessed to find Dr. Toll. Just when I thought no Drs really care I found Dr. Toll. She listens to everything and takes action. She has helped me so many times when no one else could. Her smile and personality is so refreshing. She’s just a caring dr and has great follow through. I feel so confident in Dr. Toll. I have had a problem when she was busy but she works me in somehow. Her nurse is also a blessing. She surrounds herself with kind people that cares like she does. I highly recommend Dr. Toll at Family Practice. They are lucky to have her!!

I am Dr. Toll’s current Medical Assistant. Let me tell you she is one of the most sweetest and kindest doctor I have worked with. She’s always worrying about my health as well as her patients health. I will always recommend patients to her.

Dr. Toll is not up to date on lipids and cardio vascular disease (CVD) research. Without considering my high HDLs and my low Triglycerides, she looked at my elevated LDLs and prescribed statins. I am not aware of a single study that suggests people with high HDLs and low Triglycerides have an increased risk of CVD based on high LDLs. In addition, my remnant cholesterol (RC) was also low; RC is highly correlated with CVD.

I went in for a sore shoulder for the second time. When brought to her attention my soreness and swelling also in my knee she said “Its not swollen but have you gotten fatter?” That was rude. After our initial discussion she proceeded to take my vitals herself and wrote them on the back of a paper towel. How bizarre? I will never see this lady again. She sent a prescription for nerve numbing medications. That seems like a mask for fixing the problem. I will figure something else out.

I found Dr. Toll to be professional and courteous.

Always concerned about me and my wife health. Is very through in her exam and even calls us at home to check on us I have never had another doctor do that.We have been seeing her ever since she has been at Kelsey. I would not have any other Doctor for my primary. She should be Doctor of the year. We are 78 yrs old.
