Dr. Julie Samantha Tomback, MD

Arrogant, terrible bedside manner and most importantly lacks the skill to diagnose patients properly. I had an important health problem that I had to insist on her referring me to a specialist for and after going back and forth and numerous hurdles, she did… turned out it was a serious problem and I’m glad I trusted my intuition.

She did not spend any time with me. Did not listen to my medical issues. Did not follow up with me after my visit. Overall a terrible experience and I will never go back.

I've never had a more discouraging experience with a doctor, than I did with Dr. Tomback. Not only did she not spend much time with me in the room, but she has been impossible to reach since my appointment and refuses to give me referrals for specialists, or even speak with me about why that specialist may or may not be helpful. She has pretty much left me high and dry to sort out my medical needs on my own and with nothing but roadblocks from her. Gone is the time when medical professionals actually cared about helping patients and Dr. Tomback is a perfect example of this. I've had to find another PCP as a result and have never in my life had such an experience with a doctor before. What a waste of a medical degree.

On paper they seem like a very good place to have a family physician. I started to feel a tight tissue in my stomach and I wanted to get checked out. I told them, "sometimes is there but sometimes is just relaxed". When I saw the physician, she said "funny enough that today is not there". I mean who says that. Aside from that it is still a horrible place. I got there 30 mins before my appointment. Got walked into an office in 10 mins and waited there for almost an hour for the doctor. Then when I was going to get a blood analysis I had to tell them that I was leaving for them to take the blood. They were not attending anyone either. Horrible staff. BTW the doctor's name is Julie Tomback. Do not take her.

I don't know if it's the rush in trying to see as many patients as possible, but the care I received here was poor. Sure the office is modern and pleasing, and the appointment wait times are quick. BUT. Dr. Tomback and her associate Dr. Vassay gave me poor poor quality care. I received an ambiguous letter about needing to retest. Nothing more. Then I come in for a regular appointment, and then they explain the test that I had needed to take months ago. Sure, that part may be my fault for not doing my own research into the seriousness of the issue they wanted me to go back and test for. But then I go back, they do the wrong test. And Dr. Tomback can't even explain the diagnosis. She just rushes up to leave. Such poor care. Why do these people become doctors? It's just not a good place to be if you want your health problems to be taken seriously.

I waited over 2 hours in the exam room before the Dr showed up and then she 'apologized' for keeping me waiting - she was tied up with PAPERWORK ! I also had to reschedule part of my exam and that totally fouled up billing to the point were I had to pay for the 2nd visit because of the way the office coded the exam. After several months of trying to get it corrected, I gave up and paid out of my pocket. I have changed doctors !
