Julie Turner - Zero Stars. One visit. Waited for nearly an hour. She rushed through. Total 10 minutes in the room. Did not listen, did not ask questions. Assumed without communicating with her patient. Another doctor that expects their patient to be honest with them, while they are not. I will be finding a new GI, one that actually has concern for her patients rather than just another one on the books. Making ASSumptions about a patients life is how you lose patients. Absolutely disgusted by her behavior. Not professional. Her clinical notes are not only ignorant, they are blatantly WRONG. If she would have brought it up with me, we could have communicated about my past 15+ years in chronic pain with countless failed treatments and we could have resolved it. Instead, she did not ask questions about my past medical history, she marks her assumptions down on my paperwork without even acknowledging it with me. Shameful for a health professional to behave in such a manor. Doctors like her… are the reason I audio record all appointments. It's their word against theirs. If I'm paying more than $300 for a doctor visit, they better be doing their dang job and doing it well!! Doctor and patient are supposed to be a team. What else am I paying you for?! I've been yanked around the medical system for over a decade. I do not and will not put up with self-righteous "doctors" such as Julie Turner. Putting themselves and their own warped ideas before their patients health. It's repulsive. Even though i have family history Colon cancer, she chose not to do a colonoscopy but instead told me to lay off the medical marijuana. Medical marijuana is the only thing that remotely gives me an appetite. if she would have asked I could have told her that the medical marijuana is for the 16+ years in chronic pain with countless failed treatments, therapy included, she would have know that her assumption was ignorantly wrong. She needs to go back to school, it's pitiful when the former patient knows more than the former doctor. I've already found my new GI, hopefully one that deserves my money. because Julie Turner and staff sure as heck did not.
