Dr. Julie Lynn Voelker, MD

One of the worst mental health providers I've ever had. She hasn't helped me at all. She told me ketamine therapy doesn't work (I've already had it and it definitely does). For extreme, life quality lowering anxiety she recommended intense (4 hour) group therapy. I asked what it consisted of and she said CBT and yoga. I told her I already practice yoga (told her several times) and CBT is not preferred for people with autism. She flat out said "You don't have autism." She's had a handful of telehealth sessions with me, lasting 15 minutes a piece and she tells me that despite other therapists/providers agreeing that I likely have it. (In addition to several problems that are comorbid with autism) I asked her how the f#*k she knew whether I had it or not and called her a derogatory word. She is a joke. I usually leave providers dejected but after every appointment with her, I felt absolutely irate. I'll be filing a formal complaint. She's through Robert Young and after 20+ years of… experience there, I'm not suprised. They hire bottom of the barrel candidates and can't even keep them. The reviews for that facility back up my statement.
