She doesn’t recall info well. I was on an antipsychotic at the time which I never should have been on. She claimed I stated I wanted an increase at one point when I clearly didn’t. I wanted a decrease due to side effects. She tried to blackmail me by not allowing me to see the therapist at the practice unless I took the shot. How unprofessional and childlike is that? Here I’m trying to get the help I need but she refused service to me because of that. I’m doing much better now 5 years off the medicine. I have a better doctor that I see now. I’ve learned to cope better. Dr Volpe needs to learn medicine is not the answer to everything and needs to listen better to her patients. It would probably help if she wrote things down that her patients say. Also, she guaranteed that I’d be back in the hospital if I didn’t take the medicine. I haven’t been back since. I understand that I can end up back, but taking an antipsychotic chronically is not the solution for me. Learning to manage stress… is.
