Dr. Julie K Wachtel, DO

Dr. Julie K. Wachtel was my emergency room physician Nov. , 2019 at Acesention Seaton, Willamson. After checking all my heart functions but still having pain, she asked to do a CT scan on my lungs. She was uneasy about this pain. The CT was done and she came in and set down my me and informed me of the results. Took her time to explain everything. She asked me to promise I would see a lung specialist as soon as possible. I listened to her, saw a specialist and findings proved I had neuroendocrine cancer all over my body. So many doctors in the past 5 years had treated me and nothing found. I can not thank her enough! This is a quiet cancer and hard to detect, but she did not give up on me.

Dr.Wachtel treated me in Seton's Emergency Room two days ago. Her diagnosis and treatment were excellent and seemed most accurate since they helped tremendously. Her congenial, caring, competent approach was assuring and soothing to this hypertensive patient. I wish her office were in Round Rock because I would really choose her to be my regular doctor. Thanks, Dr. Wachtel, for your help.

Did not like her at all. She gave me some half hearted diagnosis which was incorrect. I will not be going to this hospital again. I can't believe her bedside manner.
