Summary
Dr. Worthington began her career in dentistry as a dental hygienist. She then attended the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry where she earned her dental degree. This was followed by a one year general dentistry residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She completed her formal education at West Virginia University where she was awarded a Certificate in Orthodontics and Masters of Science degree.
Dr. Worthington has been an orthodontist since 1995. For ten years she practiced as an associate in the Tampa area. In 2005, she opened her own orthodontic office in the Carrollwood Professional Center.
She is a member of many professional associations including the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Florida Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association and its state and local components. She currently serves as a member on the Hillsborough Community College Dental Advisory Committee.
