Dr. Julie Esther Yoon, MD

Dr. Yoon is an excellent doctor. She takes her time with you and explains everything so I can understand. She follow ups on all tests. She is cautious and caring. Definitely recommend her!

Dr. Yoon has been my physician for the last 7 or 8 years. I have found her to be attentive to my questions, great in referring me when necessary, exceptional in diagnosis, and an overall excellent doctor. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Yoon is a terrible physician. She spent our visits avoiding the reason I was there. She instead focused on fat shaming, with the assumption that I was unfamiliar with nutrition. A topic I teach at least once a month. She ordered an extremely expensive, medically unnecessary test without doing a thorough exam, that she then only gave cursory review of and never followed up on. I fired her when she told me that Eastern Europeans eat (and I quote) Garbage Meat. Then, when I switched physicians, the office held my records hostage, refusing to fax them to my new physician. Folks. The EMR has the capability to fax records at no cost to the provider or the patient. This was a wholly punitive action, punishing me for changing providers. My visits were filled with condescension and grossly insulting behavior. I was sent for expensive, medically unnecessary tests without a basic, common sense, baseline exam... tests that were then not followed up on. And the office demonstrated… punitive and unethical behavior. Please, do yourself a favor and find another Provider. Any Provider. You should avoid this one.

rude doctor

I had out of state insurance and tried on dozens of PCPs that all fell short... until I found Dr. Yoon and her amazing team. Her receptionist, Beth, is sweet and kind and caring. Her nurse Kyle is gentle and hilarious. And Dr. Yoon is knowledgeable, patient, and gives me the time and attention I feel like I deserve. I have been in a few times for last minute things, whether it be a cold or something more serious, and every time I feel welcome and like they truly care about making me feel better.

I've been a few times now and have had absolutely horrible experiences. i left my last appt. in a panic!!! My questions weren't answered and i left feeling confused and stupid.

Dr. Yoon is an excellent physician who cares about patient's concerns and spends time to address them. However, the receptionist is extremely rude and unprofessional with no sense of customer service. I am considering switching to a different PCP because of consistent bad experiences with this receptionist.
