Sooo disappointed in Mr Viccman . He is arrogant and a narcissist. If you question him he’s condescending. Don’t recommend him at all

Dr. Vaisman installed a spinal cord stimulator in my back in 2008. He was supposed to put a lead up my spinal cord. Instead,he just laid it down in my back and called it a day. I went in repeatedly to ask him to correct the device. He told me it was installed properly, and I must be doing something wrong. I went to Beth Israel and saw a proper physician to install it correctly, and has been working well ever since. He doesn’t listen, and charges you $25 to write a doctor’s note for your job. It seems like others liked his staff, I found them rude and unwilling to help with anything but more appointments. Oh! I almost forgot the best part! His staff didn’t fill my paperwork on time for insurance to approve the surgery, then told me that I had to pay for it because I signed the paper saying I would be responsible. My insurance had to threaten to cancel them if they charged me for it. Untimely manner on their part, and tried to intimidate me into paying them.

What a waste of time first off the guy doesn't speak English and didn't know simple terms medically. He doesn't believe you're in pain and wants to sell you acupuncture and tell you to see a shrink. I have severe degenerative disc disease no mistaking it on the reports. Was willing to try one shot but wanted to sell the sedation which is just a money maker. He does not listen. Sits and types . Don't waste your time.

I went in for a chronic undiagnosed pain. First he told me that I hadn't been in pain long enough. Then Dr. Vaisman suggested I lose weight (after informing him the pain is so bad I can't even walk for 5 minutes) and to also change my antidepressant (which isn't the cause or solution) He also had me have an x-ray and lied about what it was for. Stay as far away from him as you can.

He is AWESOME!!!!

I heard brilliant things about this dr and spent ALL of my money to see him, as a last resort to a chronic pain condition, as my insurance had lapsed and I was desperate. He KNEW that I had several young children, my husband had been laid off, and that I was in a suicidal amount of pain... He told me to take his wife's cooking class to learn how to cook without animal products. Basically he took all my money a week before christmas and told me to eat beans. I left hysterical. Don't do it.

Dr. Vaisman was highly recommended tome but I am now unsure as to why. He never once saw me out of the "surgery center". I always had to meet with Dr. Ordia and or a nurse practitioner. He once left in the middle of a procedure and let a resident take over without even telling me this was going to happen. I knew because I heard his voice in another area speaking to another patient. I have been being treated for 11 months and I have not made much progress. I am now switching to a spine specialist in Boston. Office staff(excluding one person) is rude and don't seem to care about you or your medical needs. Nurses for surgical treatment are fabulous. That it the best I can say about Vaisman and his practice.

Although he may not have the best bedside manner, Dr. Vaisman is the only doctor that was able to diagnose me and treat me appropriately. I am so, so thankful I found him!
