Dr. Julio Cesar Arauz, MD

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Arauz for 14 years. My husband went to Dr. Arauz for a referral to his Cardiologist. My husband needed the referral for the next morning to go see his Cardiologist. The office wasn't very busy, but my husband still had to wait for 3 hours to be seen. When my husband told the nurse that he needed a referral for the next morning, he was told that getting a referral for the next morning was impossible. Now, his symptoms were shortness of breath, heavy feeling in his chest, and his legs and feet were really swollen. So, my husband called his Cardiologist and spoke to a lady who told him that she would call Dr. Arauzs' office and tell them that they need the referral "stat". My husband was very upset and just left the doctors office. My husband called his insurance company and they said that Dr. Arauzs' office could have made the referral and given my husband a copy of it to take to the Cardiologist the next morning. The office… staff were really rude, sarcastic, and unaccomodating. My husband was treated very bad. Both of us are going to find a new primary care provider as soon as possible.

My visit started off horrible as I went in asking questions and the girls couldn’t answer anything without getting with an assistant manager the girl in the front is not in a good mood, at the end just started talking to the assistant manager and turned out to be a good visit we love dr arauz!

muy mal trato desde que llegas...te tratan como animales...NO la recomiendo a nadie...si tienes el tiempo,,,busca algo mucho mejor....segunda vez q intento que me atiendan y prefiero retirarme y buscar mas....HORRIBLE...

I have went to see Dr. Arauz on multiple occasions. He is very professional and communicates in a compasionate way. His treatment has always seemed to help remedy my ailment, for whatever I happen to go in for that comes up. And as an added plus he has a great sense of humor. I am overall very happy with my experiences with him.

My parents both go to this doctor. I dislike the way his office has more than two hour wait time. When the doctor sees them my parents tell him their ailments and he says part of it is old age, instead of requesting different exams for them. The elderly need to feel secure in the knowledge that they are being taken care of and not pushed aside. He needs to remember to respect everyone no matter the age. Also, the female staff are very unprofessional at the office. I have heard them talking about the patients in a disrespectful manner and are rude in almost every visit with my parents. I hope the doctor is aware of this because we will change doctors if things don't change soon.

If you want to see this doctor expect to be in the waiting area for at least 2hrs and 30 minutes and when you get called on expect another hour in there and he's only there in the room with you for a good 10 minutes doesn't even check you just writes down the medication you need or gives you a higher dosage. If you enjoy spending your time at the doctor for so long then this is your doctor. Good Luck

Since they take a lot of walk ins the wait time is big however they are very caring and the dr. does follow up. Also if you don't have insurance the cost is a lot cheaper then going to another dr. or to an urgent care center. I have been taking my children and myself there for the past 15 years. Even though my children have a pediatrician, I always take them there when I need to schedule an emergency visit.
