DR. Ugarte has been my family physician for 24 + years. His expertise as a general practitioner in family medicine is exceptional. He shows a kind , caring , professional mannerism,and welcomes your questions . I highly recommend him as your doctor. Through these years he's called the shots right for me and if he was ever in question about any diagnosis he has made it a point to consult and find out.

He is fantastic! Very happy with the level of care I received, he has been thorough with tests, but if the patient is not willing to do the work the only one they can blame is themselves

My husband and I have been his patients for several years. He is very thorough, takes his time with you and really cares.

Not Punctual, Doesn't Care, Over Books, My Way or the Highway!!! Doesn't like to be questioned about his diagnosis or treatment plan! Prone to over test without explanation or your approval! Does not make suggestions or recommendations, just take it upon himself, without your knowledge, to make "Referrals", this results in a call from the referred Doctor or Facility to schedule a visit ( totally unacceptable ) !!! Tells you to go elsewhere & walks out on you.

He was our family physician for some time. He was always very informative. Caring and very knowledgeable up to date on all our family and our health. Never forgot all our current and past health conditions. We totally trusted him and would still be with him today if he did not switch to an office that does not take our insurance. If circumstances change and he once again takes our insurance we will switch back immediately. We've seen him since 2000 and he's the best Doctor we've ever had.

Dr Ugarte has been my primary doctor for 8-9 yrs. He is a very good doctor.

I have been with dr. Ugarte for many years. He is a very pro-active doctor. The only probl I have is requesting too many unnessary tests. I have lost a lot of weight since I've been with him. I feel that too many of these tests are very costly to medicare

when we came to The Villages , we went to Dr Ugarte because he was Integrative . We liked his questions and appreciated his answers too. However, we found the staff neither professional nor friendly.. One day when I took papers in, I asked if I could make an appt for my husband. The desk girl started to bring up scheduling on the computer then said, "I have to get the scheduler from the back. She was gone for 10 minutes and returned to tell me that I would be called within 48 hours. Of course, when they called we were not home. This happened after an appt with a 30 minute wait in the lobby , then another 45 minutes in the room ....so good doctor ...I have heard from several people but not so good staff

excellent doctor, a year ago this taking me and puts a lot of attention to my health, I'm very happy.
