Dr. Julye Nesbitt Carew, MD

Dr. Carew is one in a million. I met her many years ago when she was caring for my best friend. Dr. C is the "real deal", a physician who truly cares and empathizes with her patients. I've even watched her make rounds on her patients on the weekends--almost a thing of the past. Little did I know that I would wind up as a patient following a knee replacement (good) and an unfortunate stay at rehab(not good). My adult children are grounded for Life. She is deep, sincere, authentic and compassionate--in addition to being a 5th generation MD in her family. I trust her implicitly with my health, my children's health and my best friend's health. She is always willing to answer questions, and her staff is great. She commands great respect because of her respect for others. One can tell a great deal about a physician by the longevity of their staff's employment and their dedication to the work ethic that she embodies. Thank you Dr. C for your grace and good listening skills.

I was diagnosed with asthma 2 years ago and the meds didn’t help. Dr. Carew spent time testing me and taking my medical history. I do not have asthma and what she has prescribed has made a world of difference. She is an excellent doctor!!

I almost died of an asthma attack. Five emergency room visits this last year. I saw Dr Carew 2 weeks ago and because of her knowledge and compassionate care she gave me new meds and I have never felt better! Two weeks with no wheezing! This is the pulmonologist you must see people!!

I came out of the medical field, and I think I know something about physicians. This lady listens well, talks about alternatives, and is very thorough. I have been a chronic lunger for a long time. The office staff performed two pulmonary function tests that I have never received. She looks into your problem in depth. Very impressed with her and her office staff.

Dr. Carew takes time with her patients to explain and answer your questions in a caring manner. I felt comfortable with her immediately. Her office staff is very professional and friendly too. I would highly recommend Dr. Carew.
