Dr. Jun Chen, MD

Dr. Chen is a great doctor but her staff is horrible. The three women she has working in the office (ALL THREE) are rude and disrespectful. My family member will be looking for another doctor.

Dr. Chen visited me while I was an inpatient at THR Plano. She was supposed to be checking me for possible renal failure. Instead she kept asking me if I wanted to take my life. She did this in front of two other people in the room thus breaching patient confidentiality. My husband had brought me to the emergency room because I had just begun a new medicine for heart problems. That drug reacted badly with an anti anxiety medication I was taking. Dr. Chen never even looked at my chart before she accused me of deliberately overdosing. I took each medication as directed. I am a very responsible older woman and I do not drink or take non prescription drugs. I only take an asthma medication and an anti anxiety med. The doctor who prescribed the heart medication knew of my anti anxiety medicine. I was embarrassed in front of two visitors. I was badgered after already suffering from an acute reaction due to the combination of the two medications. Dr. Chen was very abrupt and somewhat mean as… she spoke with me. I would never allow her to treat me or anyone I cared about.
