Then she explained there are two procedures, a Lumpectomy and a Mastectomy. But since I’m so young (48y old), she recommended bilateral Mastectomy. Just to be clear, my left breast is not affected at all, only the right one, after she explained the procedures and kept pushing for the double Mastectomy, she proceeded to show me some pictures of her work, and I only got more scared seeing the terrible scars she has left on her patients. My heart broke seeing how terrible those scars look like, I cannot believe she feels proud of such terrible results. While she kept pushing for a bilateral Mastectomy, she was not able to answer some of the questions that me and my husband had. She only confused us more and more with her explanations. I fell more like she care for the procedure that is going to give her the most financial benefit, not the best one for me. On top of that she referred me for an MRI, it took over a week to get the referral, they told me I would get it the same day or the… next. She also took a sample for a genetic test, and she never called me to discuss the results, I found them myself on the app for the lab that processed the test. After I left her office, I fell terrified and confused, so I decided to go to another doctor for a second opinion. With the new doctor, I fell relieved and on the right hands. She also told me that the MRI was supposed to be done first to make sure they see the full affected area. I actually had to go for a second biopsy since the MRI showed a bigger enhancement than the Mammogram. In a matter of a week I got the MRI done and the results, I met with the genetics specialist, the oncologist, and a Social Worker. I need surgery in only the affected breast, they are not touching the other one. June Lee could had avoided me going for two biopsies if she had requested the MRI first, but since I didn’t know better at the time I trusted her. I went under the same procedure twice and got stocked with two separate bills as well. Nothing to do about it since I signed paperwork accepting my financial responsibility. Also, about two weeks after seeing June Lee, her office called me and left me a message to ask if I had seen the “Plastic Doctor”, (I still have the voice message), all I can imagine is a doctor made out of plastic, more like a Lego figurine. They never referred me to a Plastic Surgeon she made me believe she was going to do it all. I DO NOT recommend June Lee at all! She is not a good person and much less a good doctor. I’m hoping with this review I protect other patients from June Lee who in my opinion should not be counseling patients regarding breast issues, she wants to get money for surgeries, not good results for her patients!

Had an excision biopsy today by Dr. Lee. She was so warm and made me feel at ease about the procedure. Her upbeat spirit combined with her excellent skill as a surgeon made me feel confident that I was in the best hands. I would absolutely recommend her.

Dr. Lee is a fantastic Dr. and Surgeon. She has a great bedside manner and is very positive. I would highly recommend her to everyone.

Best bedside manner. Really caring, courteous, empathetic. More importantly, she's capable, skilled and thorough. She takes your condition very seriously and knows what she's doing.

Dr Lee is one of the most caring, compassionate physicians that I have ever met, and has the patient's best interest in mind. She refers to specialists as needed. Her diagnosis is cautious, accurate and spends as much time with you as needed, answering any and all questions, and providing careful explanations so that they can be understood.

She is a Caring compassionate person who puts patients needs first and is sympathetic of their emotions when needed. I have recommended friends and family to her. SHE IS THE BEST!!!
