Dr. Melin is AWESOME!

Dr. Melin is fabulous! I am so glad I was referred to her regarding a polyp.First visit at the clinic - outstanding - she calmed me down, gave me the detailed explanation , spent a huge hour with me telling me all I needed to know about polyps and what I needed to do.She is confident, considerate, patient with your worries and umpteen questions - what more could you dream of in your 'perfect doc' !!The first time I heard of polyps was in my case, and what scared me right away was that there would be a related biopsy.Post my visit, I chose to opt for the Hyperoscopy instead of just the biopsy.Second Visit - Pre-op - She had every little thing written down for me and she calmed my nerves regarding the procedure. There was not a single thing I could think of as amiss and well nothing I could worry about. Procedure Day - which was on FriIn comes Dr. Melin, smiling and confident and with her 'rest assured, I'm here and I'll make it right ' demeanour and that kept me calm.Here, I must add… that the nurses and staff at Scripps Mercy are amazing people. The whole procedure was a breeze and before I knew , I was back home and resting.And here I am on Mon evening absolutely relieved to have heard back from Dr. Melin - not one of her staff, but the Doctor herself.And this is why I knew I just had to write the review without any delay.I am so impressed that she cared to call me right away as soon as she received the biopsy results and did not rush to just tell me that the results were clear. She took the the time to ask how I felt, did not rush me and made sure I had the post-op visit booked.I absolutely love Dr. Melin and no matter how many good things I say, it'd still not be enough to thank this wonderful Doctor :)
